Offshore Haven

An offshore haven is a country or territory that charges little or no tax on foreign companies and individuals and often offers secrecy, so that businesses and wealthy people book profits or hold money there. It is another name for a tax haven, explained in full on that page.

Many are also offshore financial centres. Their use is linked to tax competition and transfer pricing between parts of the same multinational.
