Growth-Style Funds

Investment and Capital MarketsUpdated 05 Nov 2026

Growth-style funds are mutual funds and other funds that invest mainly in growth stocks: companies whose earnings and sales are expected to rise faster than the market's, often in fast-expanding sectors. The approach they follow is explained in full on the Growth Investing page.

Such funds usually pay little income, because the companies they hold reinvest profits instead of paying dividends, and their returns tend to swing more than those of value-style funds.
