Eventually, in 25-100+ years from now... there would be no physical currency, everything would be digital. It would still be legally issued fiat currency in digital format by the government/body issuing it.
If you are asking if currencies like Bitcoin, etc. (crypto currencies) would ever replace the physical currencies, the short answer would be no.
