Which is better for merchants: Square or ShopKeep?

Square is just a Credit Card reader/swipe mechanism, Shopkeep is a complete solution for a Point-of-Sale system, there quite a large margin of difference between the two solution sets.
Shopkeep's speciality is towards making the POS solution in its entirety - an offering for their clients, whilst Square's just satisfies the credit-card swipe and processing.
I personally think Shopkeep's niche is looking at the POS solution and how to further enhance it (as they have clearly done with the cash register, iPad integration, printer, etc.) I would bet that Shopkeep would innovate more in the area of POS by allowing integration with accounting/bookkeeping software, stock/SKUs and real-time inventory controls.
