Which banks are well-suited for international e-commerce businesses?

I find it really odd that Citibank or HSBC would require you to be in a certain geographical region to operate with them (or maybe I'm reading it wrong).

Your best bet would be Bank of America and/or J P Morgan Chase.

BoA would be my first preference. They have a very decent International wire department, they do corresponding and direct banking in over 190+ countries and wire tracking, etc. is very reliable and good.

Added advantage with BoA is their Merchant Services for which you can also qualify for, and their transactional banking is very decent also.

Deutsche Bank, Barclays would also be good, but their branch network is very limited.
