There can be so many, some that I could suggest would be:
- Flow of money in a given ecosystem, for example you could graphically model a city (like London), and then shows how money is placed (in banks, cards, etc.) and how money enters London, and then how it circulates within London, etc., essentially how it is spend. You will have to model a lot many businesses to make it work.
- Factors and catalysts needed to jumpstart crypto-currency in rugged economies, aka least developed nations and how can such crypto-currencies alongside their weak fiat currencies have a running payments economy, rather than a stagnant / stringent system.
- Models for reducing volatility associated with Bitcoin retailing, how can more robust models be made to minimize risk during transaction times which can include 1-2 hours before movement from bitcoin into fiat can be done.
- How will existing payment rails change with the emergence of new cyrpto-currency payment rails, and will these rails eventually form a monopoly and increase pricing to the levels of Visa/MasterCard, et. al. as they have in play today?
- Addressing the global KYC problem. How money movement can be made safer by adopting global KYC standards.
