Safe to say, the number is very high. In US$ 10s Trillions if not US$ 100s Trillion.
Just on a daily basis, the FX Swap and Spot market is over US$ 2+ Trillion (and I'm being conservative here). The remittance market is about US$ 1 Trillion per year (both legal + illegal) but that represents a very small fraction of the overall FX trades done.
SWIFT does not publish its money-transfer numbers for wire transfers (or at least I have not seen them).
