What is the production cost of a typical credit card terminal?

Based on a consultancy I was involved with, for procurement of 250,000 terminals, the OEM cost from China for something very similar to your asking, was US$ 118 per unit. This price was achieved with little negotiations and on a purchase quantity of 40,000 units. So I am sure it can go down further a few bucks more.
