For allowing me to connect seamlessly with all my friends (read: long lost friends) and family. It has allowed me to keep my circle of friends and family active and close. It offers almost everything that I need such as messaging, video, photos, writing on each other's walls, groups, specialised pages, chat, online directory of sorts, etc.
Considering the amount of time I spend on it, and the value it gives me, Facebook tops the list.
