Generally speaking, a remittance slip will contain the following information as a minimum (albeit results can vary depending on the jurisdiction, method, and transfer entity involved):
- Sender Name
- Date
- Amount being sent
- Receiver Name
- Receiver (address, telephone, email)
- Method (cash, pick-up, account credit, etc).
- Confirmation/Tracking Number (affectionately called the WUCN - Western Union Control Number).
- Company Name (the name of the entity sending the money)
