It will not be cashed and returned.
All checks that are required for cashing must have the CAR / LAR as positive values.
CAR is the Check/Courtesy Amount Recognition (what you write down as numbers: $1, $123, 4150.70, etc.) and LAR is the Legal Amount Recognition - which is what you write in words: One Dollar Only.
Both the CAR and LAR have to be positive values as part of the checks and balances before a check can be processed.
