Depending upon your product and the geographic area you are operating in, you have many options.

If the product is global, a rock-solid website, testimonials, reviews, etc. will help prior to marketing it. An anchor client with a name, would also go a long way. LinkedIn Groups and Google Adwords would be two good avenues for marketing your product.

In addition to this, niche advertising in online websites like the American Banker, et. al, is also advised.

If the product is localised to a specific geographic region, then LinkedIn Group and local seminars and/or conferences pertaining to Banking would be a good bet.

If you are networked within the banking circle, then your best bet is to find out who the exact (read: right) person is to pitch the product to, and then try to find a way to get introduced to that person. Pitching at a wrong level (too high or too low the corporate ladder) can ruin your chance of a possible sale.
