Pretty Bright!

If you look at Facebook by the sheer size of its ecosystem, the number of users on it (especially outside the US), the number of businesses who have Facebook pages, etc. Facebook is perhaps the most attractive platform to market your goods/services.

More and more small, medium and big businesses are turning to Facebook to promote their products. 1000s of Facebook Pages exist where businesses and individual sellers showcase their stores to solicit orders online, via messaging to redirecting to an external website.

Of late, even companies like Shopify offer a Facebook offering and cannot ignore the FB platform, why? Because of the sheer number of users there. Whilst many people claim Facebook is dying, or they don't use it as much, there is perhaps x100 or x1000 more people who say just the opposite.

If FB were to implement a native shopping cart system, imagine being able to share a product (for sale) seamless amongst your friends and followers, as you do now with a funny picture or video. Add to this the ability to accept payments (which is definitely coming to Facebook), the future of FB as an e-commerce platform is extremely bright.
