VCs are already cognizant that WhatsApp to be merged with Facebook Messenger (at some point in time) would be used for P2P payments.
What they think or rather ask themselves, will Facebook be able to pull a rabbit out of the hat and get a global payment product going on Facebook's and WhatsApps' user base without royally screwing it up.
