ACH payments are usually handled for something like (average) 45 cents. Can't get much lower than that. With your monthly volume, even at 10 cents, the difference from 45 cents is $7. There are literally 100s of providers who provide ACH services, some for a basic monthly fees, whilst others will waive this fees, if your volume is high enough (this money is required for the servers / support / staff costs).
