There are a couple of options you can exercise. One is you can go to a 3rd party payment provider like 2CO (2CheckOut) and opt for VISA/Mastercard processing capability. Whilst it would be slightly expensive, but when you are constrained with the ability to accept payments, then such options are not a bad idea.

Secondly, the Payoneer card is also a great option, because it allows you to receive the money on your debit card, and the payment is paid by the Buyer into a US Bank Account number (via ACH). So it is a great way to accept payment into a US Bank Account, whilst simultaneously receiving the money on your debit card and you can use that to withdraw that amount locally using any VISA/Mastercard connected ATM.

The downside is the limit on the card is US$ 10,000 - so you cannot accept payments more than US$ 10,000 at a time, and in order to do so, you will have to break the payments out, and withdraw them immediately.

A Bitcoin wallet would not be a bad idea also. You might want to look into that, but the issue with a Bitcoin wallet is that in order to convert it, that might be a problem.

I don't think you can open an account, anywhere, in US or Canada without physically being there.
