From the looks of it, it seems hardware + app access would be the main areas of income.
The hardware part for sure. However, for the information within the Poken device to be of any use, needs a hosted App, which is where subscription may just follow (the typical: free, premium and business subscribers).
Also, their customized Poken devices (read: brandable) seems like an area where they can really rake it in.
