IMHO, the PayPal Eco-System. That is the value proposition of PayPal that is still so very strong.
Sure there are payment systems, Venmo, Dwolla and countless others, but they are disjointed, geographically specific, and very limited traction (availability) on the commercial store-front.
If you were to randomly pick out say 1,000 store-front, it would be a good exercise to gauge from that sample pool, how many accept or transact in PayPal or have a PayPal account themselves, versus other payment alternatives out there.
Honestly the auto-fill or such periphery benefits are just marketing gimmicks. The real value today is and remains that chances are others you want to transact with have a PayPal account (this is not just centric to the US alone).
