How much money volume is transacted globally in a single day across all categories (consumer, business, forex, etc.)?

Extremely difficult to gauge. Are we talking documented economy? undocumented? both?
If you look at the world GDP, that is US$ 75+ Trillion (2016).
Add to this the derivatives market size (annually) which is estimated to be over US$ 700 Trillion to US$ 1,200 Trillion.
The Forex market itself is US$ 5–7 Trillion a day!
The stock market trades that are not part of the derivatives or forex are not included in these numbers.
No one knows the size of the undocumented economy. We have varying degrees of estimates from 10% of the world’s GDP to as high as 50%.
Assuming the lowest numbers, US$ 5 Trillion of Forex a day + US$ 75 Trillion of GDP per year + US$ 700 Trillion Derivatives market size per year + 10% of the world’s GDP as undocumented, would yield:
US$ 7.14383561 Trillion per day!
