If the transfer is being done via SWIFT, about a 1.5 days on average (in some cases even same day). It just depends on the correspondent banks being used.
If you haven't been able to trace your wire in 2-3 days, ask the sending party to provide you with a SWIFT MT103 message format and present this to your receiving bank to trace the wire. Chances are the banks are just sitting on the money.
