Kash is no different from say Synapse Pay. Basically, you're logging into your bank account, and the app then pulls out your bank account, routing number, and other necessary information from your supplied login to then create an ACH pull request and pull the money out from your account, the self-login is the basis of your authorization (via the terms of service).
When you login into your internet banking, it can also check to see how much money you have, thus assigning you with a score with regards to risk, to see if the ACH will actually be honored or not.
