The easy way out would be to use account aggregator services, Yodlee, ByAllAccounts, Quovo, Plaid, Aqumulate, et. al.
If your country/territory or bank is not on one of these account aggregation services, ask if they are planning to come anytime soon. If not, ask if the bank would be willing to work with the OFX protocol and provide non-transactional data streams, i.e. obfuscated data for you to work with.
