For the US, assuming if you need a license (you don't need a license if you are an ISO/MSP) depends on on what sort of an agreement you have with your acquiring bank and/or partner. Sometimes they will allow you to piggy back on their MSB license (if required to do so). Do look at companies like BancBox (BancBox) that will help you with the MSB part as well.
