How can someone pay rent using a credit card?

No. With the rent market being very competitive as it is, I doubt the owner would be willing to part with 2.5-3.5% of their rent, just because they can process it via credit card. Not to mention, quite a few owners would not like to show this additional income to the tax authorities, so they would not like to have this payment process officially.
