Usually no. Bank transfers are usually done between 1-to-3 days (depending if there is a weekend in between, and the correspondent banks involved).
It is a very common practice for banks to sit on a money for an extra day or two. (Earn them float, with the cost of funds being zero).
In other instances, a transfer can take long if the recipient information was not correct or if the transaction was flagged.
