In your home country (say outside the GCC), most likely not.
In GCC and UAE in particular, possibly yes, if the financial institution went so far as pursuing the case legally and filing an official police report. The chances of them doing so are thin, very thin. It is not worth their time nor attorney fees to pursue AED 5,000. It would eventually be written off as bad debt.
