Have you looked at 2Checkout.com, 2CO for short (See www.2checkout.com)? They work with 1000s of Indian companies and specifically related to the technical and support services companies.
Granted their fees are a little higher, but they are a rock-solid company and if you have to weight between not-having and having, 2CO is certainly a step in the right direction.
You don't have to be a US entity to work with them. You can be based in India and have the ability to accept cards without any issues by using 2CO.
